Snake was manic the whole drive down to Jersey. He hated doctors and even more he didn't like people around his eye. This was going to involve both. The whole ordeal put Snake on edge which only further aggravated his pain. In turn, the pain agitated him and the cycle started to wheel out of control.

When he finally arrived at the hospital he sat in the parking lot wishing for a drink. Plissken knew he couldn't drink before an examination and so sat back to calm his nerves as much as he could. This was an enormous step for him to let a doctor look at the eye. As calmly as he could he made his way to the front door.

May I help you?

Snake's paranoia was driving him insane but he forced a smile for the receptionist.

I've got an eleven o'clock with Dr. Gregory House.

One moment. She answered politely while she consulted the computer. Snake wanted to run. Too much pressure being in a hospital again. He didn't like them at all. Plissken drummed nervously on the counter top while he waited. His eye was on the elevator but he couldn't remember which floor, too much pain from his nerves.
