The Snowball King of South Dakota.

Snake had been on the sly for this and stashed stacks of pre-made snowballs around the yard long before anyone else in the house was awake. Sure others could find them and that only made it all the more fun. Snake came back inside and got a drink while he waited for the rest of his family and any visitors that may have accepted his invitation.

He hadn’t been in a snowball fight since the first morning his squadron spent at the Helsinki base. That was almost twelve years and it seemed like even longer to Plissken. This one was much the same. It started with a challenge of his claims of Snowball King. Snake frowned at the drink. He hadn’t even thrown a snowball since he lost his eye.

Pushing the thoughts away he set the things for cocoa, tea and coffee out on the dining room table. He wasn’t sure how many people would come. It might just be him, his family and the nameless challenger he planned on blasting as soon as she set foot on the property. It didn’t matter to Snake. He was out to have fun with the kids, especially his little girl.

Finishing up in the kitchen he went to the living room to start the fire. The huge living room fireplace was one of the things that made him fall in love with this house. Once it was going he sat back on the couch waiting for his family to come down. He could hear all the feet upstairs and giggles. It was a sound that relaxed his usual tensed demeanor. He glanced out toward the drive. No cars yet. Content, Snake laid back on the couch to soak up the warmth from the fire and the alcohol.


OOC: This can be meta, bendy time or any other form of time frame. If it is taking place before or after something your muse and Snake is/will be involved in please make me aware so the muse reacts accordingly. Have fun! I promise Snake will not start shooting so go get him, now’s your chance. For Snake this is taking place just after the New Year so it is a bit back dated. You can assume all conversations that have been started took place before this event just to make it easier. Oh and despite the title this is taking place at Snake's ranch house outside of New York City.

Liza giggled spitting snow from her mouth. "Now that was dirty!" She nailed Bobby in the head with a snow ball. Then she tossed another at Snake"Shouldn't you guys be letting the pregnant woman win?"

"oh really?" She shoot another snowball at him, then used her telekinesis and dropped a pile of snow over Snake's head, "You want to cheat? And not let me win?" She giggled watching as Bobby got covered in snow.

Liza laughed "Ok you can call your reenforcements after I warm up and maybe take a nap" Liza yawned a little tired from the running around.

Snake smiled. You're welcome to go inside and take a nap. Though some of the fuzzier reinforcements might join you.

Liza's face lit up. "Puppies?" She giggled.

We got three of them, German Shepards, about three months old. Snake smiled. They're inside.

Snake smiled and started walking toward the house. Come on. Get you a comfortable place on the couch and some tea.

"Um, no full caf" Liza said looking at him, "But if that's all you have..." She walked in taking off her coat.

Liza giggled, kneeling down as one of the puppies started licking her face. "Oh my! They are soooooooooo cute!"

Snake smiled pouring Liza a cup of coffee. They're adorable aren't they. The light one is Rusty the other two are Daisy and Sarge.

"I wanted a dog. We have a cat but she seems to like Storm more. I think Bobby iceing up all the time freaked her out." She smiled thanking him for her coffee, "MMMM you make excellent coffee Nice and strong" They are just the cutest babies"

Dogs can get used to that more I think. These guys gotten used to my temper and my daughter disappearing.

"See thats what I told Bobby" She laughed,"And coffee should always be strong. I don't like all those flavored creamers eighter, it's like drinking sweet garbage" Liza absentmindly rubbed her stomach as a contraction came and went not really alarmed. "hmmm Where Did Bobby go?"

Snake pulled a thick fleecy blanket out of the closet for Liza. Least that's one thing Xena and I agree on, strong coffee.

She smiled, "Thanks." She snuggled in the blanket, "Xena? Your wife? That's a very pretty name" She sipped some more of her coffee seeing Bobby came in she laughed, "Faster than you? YOu must be getting old" She closed her eyes for a bit as another contraction hit.

Yeah, I like the name too. Different. Snake laughed at Bobby. If it was the little one in the dress, no wonder, she's a telepath.

Liza laughed with Snake, "yeah Bobby's got a horrible time with Telepath's my sister's one also. And she makes Bobby's life just horrible." She rubbed her stomach again watching her husband taking off his coat. She felt a little sick but she would put it up to running around like an child outside. The puppies were at her feet she leaned her other hand down for them to lick. As she scratched their heads.

That girl's three and already stronger then her father. I got a feeling she's going to be a strong one. Snake smiled sitting in one of the chairs, leaving the space beside Liza for her husband. As soon as Snake sat Sarge was up in his lap.
