The Snowball King of South Dakota.

Snake had been on the sly for this and stashed stacks of pre-made snowballs around the yard long before anyone else in the house was awake. Sure others could find them and that only made it all the more fun. Snake came back inside and got a drink while he waited for the rest of his family and any visitors that may have accepted his invitation.

He hadn’t been in a snowball fight since the first morning his squadron spent at the Helsinki base. That was almost twelve years and it seemed like even longer to Plissken. This one was much the same. It started with a challenge of his claims of Snowball King. Snake frowned at the drink. He hadn’t even thrown a snowball since he lost his eye.

Pushing the thoughts away he set the things for cocoa, tea and coffee out on the dining room table. He wasn’t sure how many people would come. It might just be him, his family and the nameless challenger he planned on blasting as soon as she set foot on the property. It didn’t matter to Snake. He was out to have fun with the kids, especially his little girl.

Finishing up in the kitchen he went to the living room to start the fire. The huge living room fireplace was one of the things that made him fall in love with this house. Once it was going he sat back on the couch waiting for his family to come down. He could hear all the feet upstairs and giggles. It was a sound that relaxed his usual tensed demeanor. He glanced out toward the drive. No cars yet. Content, Snake laid back on the couch to soak up the warmth from the fire and the alcohol.

If it is taking place before or after something your muse and Snake is/will be involved in please make me aware so the muse reacts accordingly. Have fun! I promise Snake will not start shooting so go get him, now’s your chance. For Snake this is taking place just after the New Year so it is a bit back dated. You can assume all conversations that have been started took place before this event just to make it easier. Oh and despite the title this is taking place at Snake's ranch house outside of New York City.

"Oh god...no...I'm a mutant...the baby's been freezing my stomach up the whole pregnacy and turning it pink. Do...you really..." She paused closing her eyes. "think that would be wise?"

Snake took a deep breath getting prepared in case there was more insanity. Probably not. Least you're here and not out on the road.

Liza winced again, "You ...seriously.." Liza cried out, "I...m...not ready" She said holding her stomach. "bobby"

Snake had already put his cup down and sighed. If your girl's coming now there ain't a hell of a lot we can do. You're about to get a crash course in baby delivering, I think.

How far you got to go? Snake was watching her breathing and counting. I don't think you got too long.

Has her water broke? Snake was staring but had a tension about him. He was ready to spring into action if he had to.

If not we might be able to fly her over before it does.

"Um" Liza blushed, "I think that already happened" She softly said a little embrassed.

Snake smiled though it was a little hesitant.

"Here?" Liza looked worried, "is that a good idea?" She asked breathing slowly.

Snake nodded while he pulled the coffee table out of the way.

Lay the blanket out and get her down on the floor with a couple pillows under her head while I get the rest of the stuff.

Snake had become all business but paused. I don't got to worry about wings or anything do I?

Good. Wings are a bitch. Snake smirked. Undress her lower half and I'll be back.

Snake disappeared for a few minutes and came back with a whole laundry basket full of things and started setting them out on the floor.

Vodka for sterilization, scissors for the cord, stitching thread, ice, cloths to keep her cool, towels, a knife just in case and something for her to bite down on if the pain gets bad.

Snake was talking as he knelt down and started pulling everything out. He sighed sadly as he poured a big glass of vodka dropping the scissors, knife and needle in. Then he went to work putting ice and water in a bowl for Bobby.

You got two jobs; helping her push and keeping her cool.


Snake put his hand on Liza's stomach.

Liza's eyes widened, Vodka? Oh god she thought. Then a contraction hit her , "THey ....mmmm...fast." She paused crying out "I think....four...three mintues. I'm...having her ....now?" SHe gasped as another contraction hit. "Um...maybe faster than that" ANother hit. "I'm scared" who wouldn've thought....She cried out again.

It'll be alright. Deep breaths. When your ready I want you to take a deep breath, hold it and then do a sit-up with your contraction.

Snake had suddenly become gently with a soft if still scratchy voice.

I need to put my fingers inside of you to see if I can feel her head yet. You alright with that? He looked at Bobby too looking for approval from both.

She nodded as another contraction hit her, she still wasn't quite sure about this whole giving bith at Snakes. But her baby wasn't giving her that option she must take after her father.

Snake nodded and gently felt for the baby. Nodding he smiled. She's coming head first so that's good.

Snake smiled keeping one hand gently on Liza's stomach.

Bobby help her push when she's ready.

Good. Then I don't have to worry about bleeding. Snake was serious. being able to freeze any bleeding that would occur was a blessing.
