For this prompt, tell us something (or somethings!) that you know about your character(s) which they themselves are not aware of. Bits of backstory, their eventual fate, things they are maybe in denial about.... anything and everything!

What aspect of your character do you find the most challenging? This could be something physical, like a disability or an allergy. It might also be their lifestyle, their sleep habits, or a particular personality trait. These are just a few examples -- have fun with this and see what you can come up with !

For Snake:
I think the hardest aspect is to play his low points. I guess it is a disability. I really have a hard time switching gears from his really aggressive, don't fuck with me attitude to the broken side of who he is. It is part of his Post Traumatic. That part of himself that sees Snake Plissken as a failure that has let everyone and everything he cares about die. There's a sense of despair to this part of his personality that brings me down too and makes it hard to play.

For Ian:
Ian's is obvious. Always having the right answer is hard to play. It is a lot of time spent looking up theories and formulas and knowledge. I study/studied things very similar to his expertise in college but he is that much more. He is supposed to always be right no matter what. That is a very difficult thing to play.

For Peninnah:
Hands down it has to be her lack of judgment. People like to judge others, we form opinions. As muns we have opinions about the personality of a character. Peninnah has no judgment of anyone. So I have to set all opinions aside, all thoughts of self preservation and fear have to be set aside. Peninnah is true neutral and compassionate. That is a very difficult mindset to get into. The idea that she is just as likely to help a serial killer that wants to kill her as she is a child is a difficult thing to remember.

For Rosie:
Here it is the need to not get too serious. Rosie doesn't like to be serious and doesn't take most things to that point. She's here to just live and have fun. On days when I'm stressed she is impossible to play because her mindset is so far from what I feel. Despite the difficulty her personality makes a great uplifting point to play.
