Snake looks away pained. No, "not being there" is not an excuse. It's weird to know someone who has touched you and you don't know what it feels like. To know someone you have taken and not know what it felt like, not know how they reacted to your presence. Snake shakes his head. This must be what it's like when you're crazy.
