2. Processing at the jail

As I recall, inefficient processing at a jail once, quite literally, saved your balls. Besides, it gives you that much more opportunity for an early escape.

Yeah it did but got even slower since then. Last time, damned near 2 hours of sitting on my ass in a room.

Processing ain't where you hitch out sweetheart. Best place for that is in transit if they don't chain me down like I'm a damned bear.

Morpheus went missing. Turned out that the Cypherites abducted him and...brainwashed him. He still doesn't remember who he really is.

Yeah. Snake frowned as she told him what had happened.

Sort of? She seemed to be thinking. Snake felt uncomfortable or rather his companion was. Snake cocked his head and his eye hazed over with anger as he snarled very, very quietly. Something was definitely wrong with Trinity.

Not staying? Thought you only ran like this on the phone.

Snake wasn't sure what was going on and his desire to work it out had him stalling to keep her around just a little longer.
