Visit for Billy/The Dresden family/The Plissken family and anyone else around

Snake sighed knowing the house was about to turn into a madhouse. So much for a few quiet nights with his wife but in all honestly he liked the house full of people. It reminded him of life and that there was a reason he was fighting that had nothing to do with vengeance. He'd made sure the house was stocked with food, lots of food. It was about to be a week long stint of something that might resemble a family reunion except most of the people involved had little or no blood family around. It could only get more interesting from here.

Now he was waiting for the insanity to start. Xena and Solan were around, Cassie was off playing and he had only now remembered he hadn't told anyone about the visit. He'd been too caught up in Xena getting back to remember. It was probably too late now. Would anyone really notice an extra kid running around the house anyway? Snake assumed probably not.

He was making a drink when he realized the dining room table wasn't going to cut it for what?...10 ..11 people. Did he even own enough dishes to serve that many people? Snake just started laughing. His thoughts sounded like his mother to him which was endlessly entertaining to him.

Damien leaped out of the old jeep, before it had even come to a complete stop and ran off to find Billy. After being stuck in a cramped car for hours he wanted nothing more then to strech out his legs. He ran off, trying to hide his excitement a bit. He did have to look cool after all.

Damien would instantly find himself being chased down by three large rather playful looking Shepherds. The ruckus attracted Snake's attention and he came out the front door laughing at the boy.

::He halted. Smiling and began to engage the dogs. Scratching them behind the ears and bouncing around with them playfully. He glanced up to find who belonged to the laughter::

Hi Mr. Plisskin. ::He waved:: Thanks for letting us come to your house.

The dogs loved kids and started bounding around him. Snake waved and came down to meet them.

Not a problem. Used to a house full.

Billy stepped out after Solan. He gave Damien a high five and then a hug.

Oh, no, it would be funny! Solan really looks as the girl, especially from the point of view of modern boys. Because he has long hair and so on. So the mess could take place ;)

::Damien disregards the dogs and focuses on the other kid, the one he hasn't met before. He listens to his voice and it strikes him that this person, was not infact a girl at all::

I mean ... Long hair is cool. My dad has had long hair since like the eighties and mine isn't exactly short.

Solan has been slightly confused, having realized, that this guy has accepted him for the girl at first, but continued to smile
Long hair are lovely, but it for children. I hope, that I'll cut them in one year or two. My mom is a warrior. And I want to be the warrior like she. When I'll learn to work with a sword skilfully enough to name myself the warrior I can have hair cut.

No. She's working I think. She travels with the Chicago Symphony and then she sometimes does solo shows and then there are all the practices she cant miss. She's so busy sometimes, that it seems like she dissapears for a while. Which is a drag because I always miss her.

She said she would try to come up, if she can find time.

::Damien smirks at the long hair being for children comment that Solan had made:: I've been trying to tell my Dad that long hair isn't for grown men either. Maybe you can talk some sense into him.

::The elder Dresden finishes dragging the heavy case of ale to the houses porch. He cracks open the case and pulls out one of the unchilled bottles. He makes a gesture to Snake as if to offer without out speaking. He has a rather unceremonious seat on top of the crate and opens the first beer::

::Harry reached back into the wooden crate upon which he sat for another beer. He cracked it open and took a slow pull. He savored the taste of the ale. It was an old fashioned flavorful brew native to Chicago. Made the old way and by a friend of Harry's, it was the wizards drink of choice::

No matter what kind of beer it is or how you serve it. The first one at a lake always tastes special.

Sure, but I don't feel a need to unload it right away. We'll take some time and get settled. Work the kinks out of my back from being stuffed in that jeep for the last umpteen hours.

Snake was watching the three boys and smiled.

Seems like Billy's been making my pond into an ocean again. It's a big pond but no means a lake.

Snake nodded. We get everyone out here anyway only take a few minutes. Nice thing about having a big family.

That was one of the things I always thought was so great about kids. Everything seems so larger then life. Things that we would brush off seems so meaningful.

Snake shrugged. 20 seems to be my problem time with them.

Snake had to think that through. 11. 12 if your wife shows up. More if Mac and Kay show up. Gonna be a full house. Though thought maybe put the boys out back in a tent. Save on the house chaos.
