1. What it meant to be a father and a good husband.

2. That it is possible to jump a dirt bike off a garage roof with a broken arm and not wipe out. It is, on the other hand, impossible to do this without someone seeing that will tell your mom that you did it.

3. Nothing cheers a mother up like her four year old boy running around in a dish cloth cape singing her favorite song.

4. Better to get grounded for doing a dare you know you shouldn't than deal with the embarrassment of backing down.

5. Real fathers can love children they've never seen.

6. In any best friend dynamic there's the brainy one that thinks up the schemes and the ballsy one brave enough or foolish enough to attempt to enact those schemes. We all know which one I was.

7. Girls are entitled to change their minds more than the weathermen. You, as a boy, have no right to question them about it.

8. Girls break your heart but nothing hurts as much as being with your best friend after his sweetheart's said goodbye leaving for a cross country move.

9. Jousting on dirt bikes with PVC pipe is ALWAYS a bad idea.

10. There's nothing wrong with boys having teddy bears.
