HereSnake was sneaky. There was no two ways about that aspect of his personality, especially when it came to surprises. He enjoyed surprising people. It didn't matter if they were good or bad. However, today he hoped the surprise went over well. The twins were fed and already back to sleeping. Cassie was in watching TV and playing. That gave him the perfect opportunity considering he'd just heard Bria upstairs. The movement was one he knew. A quick shuffle to the bathroom and then back to the bed.
Plissken was rather pleased with himself as he set up the tray. Pancakes, syrup, fruit, juice and all the accompaniments. He was out to make a good impression. She no doubt would have found the flowers and the note already. Even on the tray he had laid out a rose and some chocolates. Why would anyone go half-assed on something like this? Plissken knew he wouldn't. This was all out and as he carried the tray upstairs he paused to grab the small gift. That too went on the tray. The small red wrapped box with a violet, sheer bow wasn't something he had to do but he had decided on that at the last minute. Last night on the way home he'd seen it in the window and couldn't pass it by.
Snake slowly and quietly opened the bedroom door with a big smile and breakfast. "Good morning honey."
Technically it was getting near 11 and more toward noon but it was the thought that counts.
