So your character is hanging out with a new friend or potential romantic interest, and distracted by something. While distracted, said friend or inamorata starts idly flipping through the playlist on your character's iPod, MP3 play, uber-cool multimedia phone or laptop.
Then they do one of two things:
They burst out laughing, or give your character a puzzled look.
Share with us your character's guilty-pleasure musical choices, the tunes on their playlist that they would rather keep to themselves.

Snake had been planning to do this for awhile. He liked getting people together, people he liked anyway. Snake was very social under all the gruff and bite he had but only a select few got to see that side of him. Lately, he’d been worried about a whole list of people. Instead of tracking them down he sent them emails to come out and have dinner. The weather was finally warm enough that they could set a big table up outside late in the afternoon and have a nice dinner. He’d invited Nat, Mat and her sister, Mercy and Swan, Taylor, Butterfly and even that annoying bastard Texas Mike aside from the family that already lived in the house or made routine visits. Everyone had said yes so far. There would be nearly 30 people there if everyone showed.
“What do we need to do?’
Snake looked up to see Evie and Bria come in. Both were very pregnant and giggling. To Snake that was the best thing he’d seen all day. He was glad that his family was happier again. The twins, teething no doubt, had been fussy all morning. They were finally asleep and now he could get to work.
“Vegatables? I already have the grill heating up.” Snake was trying to find something to play on the laptop because as a ritual his family listened to music whenever any chore was being done, cooking included. Bria gave him a kiss on the cheek as both girls headed for the fridge. Snake had just found the playlist he wanted when the crying started again.
“I got them.” Snake smiled before setting down the computer on the counter. “You two find us something to listen to.”
Plissken went to get Mia who was wailing. Unlike her brother she seemed to be taking the teeth coming in harder than her brother. Cradling her in his arm Snake went back out to retrieve the frozen teething ring from the freezer. It always seemed to help. Bria and Evie were giggling like crazy when he closed the freezer.
“What’s so funny?” Snake couldn’t just let it go. Both of them were flushed from laughing so it had to be something good.
“I….” Evie started snickering. “PINK! You have Pink on here?”
Snake gave her a confused look. “There isn’t anything wrong with her.”
“Dad. You… and Pink…” Evie cracked up again.
“She kinda reminds me of you rmom.” Snake said it before he thought that through. Bria gave him a look but Evie had almost doubled over on the counter.
“Xena with pink hair!” Evie tried to straighten up. “Papi!”
“Oh come on.” Snake rolled his eye as he bounced Mia a bit. “It’s not like I’m listening to Barbra Streisand or some shit. It’s just Pink.”
“Say it again.” Evie teased.
“Say what?” Snake was so suspicious of the two girls laughing to tears.
“Say you like to listen to Pink.”
“Why?” Plissken eyed her.
“Because it’s funny.” Evie whispered out of breath from laughing.
“How?”
“It just is.” Evie countered.
“So, me listening to some badass chick singing is funny?” Snake didn’t get it but it was his turn to smirk. “Better not let Xena hear that. You know she likes to sing too.”
Evie gave him a playful sucker punch in the shoulder. “That wasn’t fair.”
“Perfectly fair.” Snake gave her a arrogant glance. “Next thing I know you’ll be laughing because I listen to Pat Benatar or some shit.”
“Pat I can see but Pink….?” Evie shook her head. “Oh My God! Papi, Shakira and Enrique too?” The giggling started again. “FERGIE! PAPI!”
“Just drop it.” Plissken shrugged. “Not like I’m the only one in the house that listens to any of those.”
Plissken gave both of them a kiss on the cheek before exiting the kitchen to check on the grill.
