Plots, Questions and Curiosity

I am opening the floor to any sort of questions about canon, in game plots, where things are going, plans, etc. Ask up to five questions about anything you want and I'll answer them. It can be anything at all. Answers will be out of character and mun knowledge. Ask about any of my characters. Ask all about one. Doesn't matter.

This post will likely contain spoilers eventually. Also a big apology to those who requested Stuntman Mike fiction. He's been quiet lately but you will be first in line when he wakes up.

1. Selina and Xena met Snake at the same time. Do you think that there might have been a chance that Selina could have ended up marrying Snake?

2. Is there anything about Snake's role-playing that you wish was stricken from his record. Or has something been dismissed from his record? I don't want to dredge up badness, but I am curious how you dealt with it and how did he. I can email you more with an explanation if you want.

Physically and romantically, yes I think there is that potential. The trouble would come in that they are in too much of the same game. I don't think it would work and more importantly I'd think they would self destruct trying to out do each other. On the other hand had it been post LA or even just pre-LA Snake she met who was not really any longer a theif that problem wouldn't exist. The potential is definitely there but I don't think it would ever happen. Also I get the feeling that Selina would not handle his coddling and worry very well. It almost killed his and Xena's relationship. Selina is much more a runner and Snake would not be strung along like she does/did Bruce.


2. Is there anything about Snake's role-playing that you wish was stricken from his record. Or has something been dismissed from his record? I don't want to dredge up badness, but I am curious how you dealt with it and how did he. I can email you more with an explanation if you want.
Not particularly. Even when things have gone bad between him and another muse or between me and a mun I've never erased his history. I don't think it is right and honestly it would be too complicated given the volume of muses he interact with. There are however some things he does not speak about due to issues in game. For example he never talks about Hope but he shouldn't want too. He lost a daughter, given his history he should shut down. I've always tried to work things in as much as I can. 3. What does Snake think of Obama?
Snake thinks he's a dick. The reason being is Snake wants a president that is going to come out and say just what he intends to do. I doubt Snake will ever get what he wants from a president. Snake also is on a wait and see policy. He's willing to give him a few months in office to make a final decision on the matter.

4. How strict of a dad is Snake?
Snake has several very strict rules. They are the law and not to be broken though he is very straightforward about what he expects. Overall he expects very little and he is rather lenient. He rarely has to correct his children. I often think it is there measure of respect he shows them. Unless they are playing around Snake never treats a kid as a kid. He treats them as adults with a lot more to learn. I'm not sure. Maybe his kids should jump in here and explain this one.

1. I agree with everything that you said. Not because I agree with everything you say, most of the time but because it's true. My muse is looking at me going, "Why did you ask him/her that? Of course we would never have been married." Then I tell her that they are like, perfect for each other! Then she tells me that is exactly WHY they wouldn't.

2. Ah, see I don't interact with that many people. My muses have their friends that they want to play with but they aren't really out there. So, if something happens it is easier for me to either not mention it or retcon them back. It still hurts them/me. But they can go back to an earlier place and play from there.

1. Yup. Xena and Snake are like that. The thing that keeps them together is that their pasts are exactly the same. They were both betrayed by people close to them, by the military. It helps them find common ground. Selina and Snake don't share that much of a past.

2. It hurts me too and Snake. It is a hard road but sometimes things just have to end and be broken off.

Yup. That is what I've done. Funny thing is I think it makes people just as mad if you don't want to play with them but don't retcon interactions. UGH!

Yes. I often run into the issue that people can not accept how Snake reacts. It causes strife when they can't understand that he is stubborn in his decisions. I can not even express how many times I've been accused of using him that way.

Which is just silly. Just watch the movie, interact with him, play with him, read him and you will get that he's about all of that and more. I mean, come on! How could you be doing that. As they say, OOC/=IC. I might have cut off ties with one of my muses but if the player/muse talked to my OTHER muse then he would welcome them back into their lives with open arms!

You expect people to do work and read something? Oh please. XD The problem I've had usually is that Snake once he kicks someone out of his life will NEVER let them back in. I on the other hand do not share that feeling. I am more forgiving. Still there comes a point where I can't forgive anymore. :S it is what it is.

I can forgive people. You've always been good to me. I understand misunderstandings, being busy and all that. It's human. But there are points... thankfully not many people have gone there.
