call_me_snakeDescribe your tattoos and/or scars. Talk about how you got them and their significance.
We'll skip the scars. Got too many of those and most of them don't matter much. Tattoos we can talk about.
My first tattoo on the back of my left calf. Grandfather, mom's dad, believed in all the traditional tests. Mom wouldn't let some of them slide so at sixteen he took me to get a tattoo. He insisted on a rattlesnake because I was almost killed by one as a kid. Said it was my guardian and ancestor. Don't know about all that but suppose he was right like lot of other shit.
Second one got in the military, before the name. We all got tattoos and know who I am. Got to be on edge and out do everyone. This is the one everyone wants to see, goes below the belt and curiosity does more than kill the cat. Don't know why I got it. I wanted a huge, black cobra.
Got this one a year later. Don't got a picture of it though, just this drawing. This one was the name. Got it when we were give leave after our hundredth successful mission. Another cobra but worked in little of the G.I. Joe stylization. I always liked this one.
Stylized Python. Just got this one because I wanted it. Got it about ten years ago.
This is my back piece. Hard as hell to take a picture of it and Essy seems to be off with her man somewhere so we got to go with the drawing. It's a cobra that on my skin looks like a color version of my stomach tattoo, bad drawing, wrapped around Xena's sword. Got this not long after Xena nd I were engaged. She wanted some sort of proof I was here for her and not like the other bastards. This is what happens when drunk men in love wander into a tattoo parlor. I don't regret it. Means lot to me to have that much there for her. Especially now she's in Greece.
My other shoulder. This is a damned important tattoo for me. Snake killing an eagle, tearing the damned thing out of the sky. Self explanatory especially when I mention the government's symbol is the eagle.
Another classic tattoo on my lower back. I don't remember getting it done. Got it when I was binging. Don't tread on me. Traditional statement of freedom from the beginning of America. Should be something like this on someone like me. This was the closest I could find to what I got. Mine's a cobra instead of a rattlesnake.
This is the recent one. Work in progress. Always will be. The back of my left shoulder. Getting something for everyone in my family. The swords and circle, Chakaram, is for my wife Xena. Sagittarius is for Solan. He was raised by Centaurs and it's his zodiac sign. Got the fairy wings for Cassie and a sacred heart for Evie. Tiger is Bria in red, her favorite color. Then got the Gemini symbol for the twins. Only thing different between this drawing and the real thing is a snake twined through it. Doubt I got to explain the meaning to this one. Figure when the new baby's born put their symbol on the other side of Bria's tiger. Tiger is only a few days old.
