It had taken Snake some time to discover where Billy was and how exactly he could get a visit. He really didn't want to have to stiff arm the foster program. To his delight he heard that his visitation would be permitted with a short form on how he knew the child and some personal information. He knew that was coming. People probably tried to pull kids and run all the time.
Snake parked in the small lot. Resolutely he tucked his guns under the seat and went inside. He had wanted to bring Hope but the woman on the phone the day before had informed him new children were only permitted on visitor at a time. Dutifully, Snake filled out the form and waited, impatiently, for them to be added to the computer. The woman kept looking at him as he paced but said nothing.
Finally she handed him a little clip in visitor badge that Snake clipped on to his jacket collar.
William is in the playroom.
Snake nodded and went the direction the woman had motioned. There was a guy he passed with too much of a grin. It was like the man had it plastered on. Snake just shook his head as he stepped into the playroom. There were a lot of boys here. This was going to be fun, in a sarcastic way. He dreaded all the questions he was sure would come.
