Snake had only sent the gifts because he didn't think he would have time to make the trip. That was until Essy found out what or rather who's party he was passing up on. She convinced him, just short of arm twisting. There was no dissuading her and she convinced him what a surprise it would be for Elizabeth considering the letter said he wouldn't be there. It was the sort of logic Snake loved. He also brought a bottle of good bourbon. Surely Elizabeth would know how to enjoy it with him.

The flight wasn't long though Essy slept most of the trip after the novelty of the small craft wore off. As usual he landed in the field not far from the court. He could see the bustle as he came in to land. There was a party going on that was for sure. Snake got out waiting for Essy. Walking with his arm looped in hers and trying to keep the giddy girl from falling or bolting he made his way to the court.

Nervous was almost a understatement of the year when it came to this. Essy had naturally very good posture, so she was standing up perfectly straight. essy had educated herself in everything there was to know about Her Majesty's time period. Essy was after all a nut for the period.

Esmeralda stared at her hand for just a moment before taking it and nodding her head. "Your Highness." She glanced up and blushed at the comment about her being lovely. Maybe Kegan was right. She tucked the strand of curl behind her ear and looked to Snake. Lady in waiting? Heck yes! She'd kill for that, unfortunately, she knew that might not be possible, however the thought was nice. She watched her openly hug Snake and smiled softly, glancing around and loosening up a tiny bit.

Snake laughed at Elizabeth's comment and looked between the two women. Don't got one but I am skilled int eh arts of constructing them.

Snake grinned at some of the people staring and shrugged.Snake smiled at Essy knowing full well this was a dream for her.
