Visit for Billy/The Dresden family/The Plissken family and anyone else around

Snake sighed knowing the house was about to turn into a madhouse. So much for a few quiet nights with his wife but in all honestly he liked the house full of people. It reminded him of life and that there was a reason he was fighting that had nothing to do with vengeance. He'd made sure the house was stocked with food, lots of food. It was about to be a week long stint of something that might resemble a family reunion except most of the people involved had little or no blood family around. It could only get more interesting from here.

Now he was waiting for the insanity to start. Xena and Solan were around, Cassie was off playing and he had only now remembered he hadn't told anyone about the visit. He'd been too caught up in Xena getting back to remember. It was probably too late now. Would anyone really notice an extra kid running around the house anyway? Snake assumed probably not.

He was making a drink when he realized the dining room table wasn't going to cut it for what?...10 ..11 people. Did he even own enough dishes to serve that many people? Snake just started laughing. His thoughts sounded like his mother to him which was endlessly entertaining to him.

Oh, no, it would be funny! Solan really looks as the girl, especially from the point of view of modern boys. Because he has long hair and so on. So the mess could take place ;)

Solan has been slightly confused, having realized, that this guy has accepted him for the girl at first, but continued to smile
Long hair are lovely, but it for children. I hope, that I'll cut them in one year or two. My mom is a warrior. And I want to be the warrior like she. When I'll learn to work with a sword skilfully enough to name myself the warrior I can have hair cut.

No. She's working I think. She travels with the Chicago Symphony and then she sometimes does solo shows and then there are all the practices she cant miss. She's so busy sometimes, that it seems like she dissapears for a while. Which is a drag because I always miss her.

She said she would try to come up, if she can find time.

::Damien smirks at the long hair being for children comment that Solan had made:: I've been trying to tell my Dad that long hair isn't for grown men either. Maybe you can talk some sense into him.

I still study in fencing, but father... I wanted to tell, Snake, - he has faltered here a little bit, - promised to teach me to use a gun so I can be true badass, almost as bad as he.
Here Solan broken off, having realized, that these words can be understood ambiguously. And hastened to change the subject of conversation.

::Damien listened having felt like he got a grasp on most of what Solan had said. He assumed english was a second language for him and while he noticed the subject change. He couldn't help but chime in on swords versus guns::

Well I think a sword is cooler, Solan. Anyone can point a gun at someone, but it takes skill to master a bladed weapon. You could be like my Dad though, he has both.

::He smiled:: I'll bet you were gald you found your mom. My mom is so important to me, I think I'd be lost without her.

"I'd like to learn martial arts," Billy said. "Like how you do karate. Then bad guys will think you're unarmed and you take them by surprise!"

Martial Arts doesn't get really fun till a year or two after you start. You begin just learning how to do basic moves and how to stand. I thought it was boring at first but mom and dad encouraged me ... told me to stick with it.

Everything builds on what you learn before and then after a while you start learning the cool stuff like the throws and complicated spining kicks.

I think, skill to use both sword and a gun only will make me stronger and more dangerous for enemies. I would like to be able to fight as well as my mother, with the weapon or without it. But it will demand a lot of patience. What is the karate, by the way?

"If I use karate, Damien uses a sword, and you use a gun, together we'll confused bad guys to death! We'll be unstoppable!" Billy grinned. He looked to Damien to explain karate, he thought he'd better at that.

::Damien struggled for a way to describe martial arts to Solan::

Its like a style of fighting and defence that uses no weapons. All attacks come only from your body and many moves use the enemies movements agaisnt them.

It's based on how warriors from the east, in asia, fought thousands of years ago.

Does that makes sense?

It seems, I understand. My mom fights in such style. She has shown me some movements and taught as to use enemies' attacks against them.
Only she did not speak me, that it is karate.
Say, are you able to do pinch?

Well there are many was to fight like that. The type I know is called Karate. Your mom may know the same style or maybe not. You should ask her if they way she fights has a name, that would be the best way to know.

Solan scratched his nape, trying to explain, that is "pinch".
Well, it is a favourite mother's trick in fight. Only one touch to a neck, and you cut a flow of blood to a brain, and your enemy dies in thirty seconds. The person should not be strong to make it, it is necessary to know only the necessary pressure points on a neck. I asked mom to teach me, but she has refused. Therefore I have thought, perhaps you know something about it?
Here he noticed Cassie which tried to sneak by them, hiding her wings...
